Bacalhau: It’s not just a codfish

I’ve never been to a place where there is a high regard for the codfish. Bacalhau, Portuguese for codfish, seems like a culinary staple in Porto, Portugal. In fact, some of the locals told me that there are more than a hundred ways to prepare Bacalhau. You can find codfish in almost any local restaurants made in different dishes. As a fish lover, I almost always ordered a Bacalhau dish in my short stay in Porto. My favorite was the stewed Bacalhau with potatoes, but all the others were also so delicious! 🙂
