Let it snow! Let it snow!

Just a few days after I came back from a month long yuletide vacation in the Philippines, I wasn’t anticipating that there was a snow storm heading towards Belgium. Having been soaked under the tropical sun, my body was already feeling the cold thermal shock just as I arrived. I came on a friday and I have already made some plans for my weekend and go for a quick day trip to Antwerp with a friend. As many of the locals told me, a really bad snow storm in Belgium would only be around 5 or maybe up to 8 cm. which is nothing compared to its neighbors or the east coast of the USA. So we thought, we’ll push through with the trip and we will not let any storm stopping us from roaming or strolling around on a weekend. To cut the long story short, we were still able to go on with the trip but half of our saturday was wasted because the public transportation was not on service because apparently Elsa of Frozen decided to hang out around Liege for the whole day!… yes Liege was blanketed with thick snow! But hey, despite that! as a person who grew up in the tropics, I thought it was exciting. So while waiting for the trains and buses to return back on business, I ended up walking around the city…
