Christmas 2013 at the Grand Place, Brussels

Yuletide, Holidays, Winter etc… Whatever one may call it, I just can’t get enough of Christmas! It is the most wonderful time of the year! Although we are way past the holiday seasons; the sights, sounds and most definitely the smell and tasty delights of the last Christmas is still well vivid in my memory. This has become one of my most memorable holiday season, since this was my first time to experience European Christmas and what made it more wonderful was because I got to celebrate it in the center of chocolate universe – Belgium!

This was during mid-holidays at the Grand Place, Brussels on one of those unplanned trips. Surprisingly, I remember it was the first weekend of their Christmas market and so unsurprisingly the place was packed.

The Grand Place was well illuminated as always, but decorated with a Christmas tree and nativity scene center piece.
