Stop over: Heidelberg

We went on a trip to Vienna last December 2013, and our first stop over was Heidelberg, Germany. We have only about 5 hours until we catch the next train ride to Stuttgart, where we will spend the night and ride another train very early next morning. Anyway, since we only have 5 hours, we didn’t waste our time and went ahead to the tourist center near the train station to get a city map and ask how to get to the old town and city center.

We had a quick tour of the old town, Heidelberg Schloss, Old Bridge and the city’s Christmas market. 5 hours is indeed too short of a visit/tour in this very historical and beautiful city.
